YOUNG FASHION DESIGNER TO REALISE HER DREAMS IN UK

Twenty six-year-old fashion designer, Anna McEachran of Mosman Park, Perth is celebrating after being chosen as one of just six winners to travel to the UK for the opportunity of a lifetime in the 2006 British Council Australia Realise Your Dream programme.

McEachran, who was selected from a pool of 850 entries, has been awarded a scholarship worth $10,000. She will work with top professionals in the UK fashion industry with British Council Australia using its powerful UK network to find suitable mentors for money-can’t-buy work experience.

Entry was open to anyone aged 19-26 in a range of creative fields such as architecture, the arts, design, music, visual arts, film, animation, fashion, digital media, and communications, publishing and much more.
