My Account

Order Status and History

You can track the status of your order in My Account.

Once payment has been approved, your order may be at any one of the follwing stages:

    "Ready to Ship" - means payment has been accepted and the order is now awaiting despatch from the warehouse. You will receive an email to confirm that we have received your order.

    "Partially Shipped" - means part of your order has been despatched from the warehouse and is now on its way to you with our preferred courier. You will receive an email to confirm the specific products that have been shipped.

    "Order Complete" - means your order has been despatched from the warehouse and is now on its way to you with our preferred courier. You will receive an email to confirm its despatch.

Within My Account, you can also view a history of your purchases and view the details of each order.


Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order as long as the order status remains "Ready to Ship." If order status is "Shipped", the order can no longer be cancelled. To check the status of your order, please log into My Account to view your order status and transaction history.

Tips on Finding Products

There are a few easy ways to find products.

1. By Product Category:

  • Use the drop down menus located at the top of the site to select a product category.
  • This will link you to a page of brands containing products relevant to the product category you have selected.
  • 2. Select a brand.
  • This will link you to a page of products that are relevant to the product category selected within the brand selected.

You will also notice that there is a left hand menu with other product categories available from the brand you have selected.

3. By Brand:

  • Use the A-Z Brand link located at the top of the site.
  • This will link you to a summary page of all the brands available on the site and a brief description of each of the brands.

By Keyword Search:

Type in one or more words relevant to the product you are searching for and select a brand if you wish to refine the search. The search results will list products whose names match the word(s) entered first, followed by products whose description contain word(s) that match the word(s) entered.


Payment Options

We currently accept the following credit cards:

We will extend our payment options to include Amex, Diners and Bpay in the near future.


Shipping Charges & Delivery

We currently offer standard delivery within Australia. Our courier is Australia Post to enable delivery to not just home and business addresses but to PO Boxes as well.

The cost of standard delivery is $5.95 per warehouse to a single delivery address. Delivery time can take between 2-7 business days (Mondays to Fridays, excluding public holidays) depending on when the order is placed, the delivery address and the location of the despatching warehouse.

We encourage you to double check your delivery address details at the time of ordering to ensure your order gets to you or the intended recipient as quickly as possible.

Without limiting the operation of any other Terms and Conditions herein, we reserve the right not to accept liability for any loss or damage arising from a late delivery nor any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

Returns & Exchanges

theLounge.com.au and the brands represented on The Website stand by the products and offer a refund within 30 days from date of purchase for any of the following reasons:

Please note we unfortunately cannot accept products returned due to "change of mind" unless the product is damaged.

Customers with legitimate returns have the option to receive the cost of the item refunded in the form of a gift voucher or a refund on the credit card that was used in the original purchase. If the item was purchased using a gift voucher or gift certificate (or part thereof), the amount paid by the gift voucher or gift certificate will be refunded in the form of theLounge.com.au gift voucher.

Please note we are unable to refund the initial postage and handling fee except in the case where the item is damaged.

Launched in 2000, theLounge.com.au incorporates an online magazine with online shopping.

Originally a pure online content site, theLounge.com.au has evolved to include a shopping site focused on providing a diverse selection of beauty products. Available are over 2,000 products from international brands - such as Clarins; to new, upcoming and hard-to-find brands. Categories include skincare, cosmetics, bath and body, hair care and fragrances.

theLounge.com.au beauty shopping site is endorsed by the brands it represents. We only work with official distributors and owners of these brands to provide you with peace of mind in terms of quality and price - a great point of differentiation against a number of other beauty sites that are not sourcing their products from genuine official suppliers.

Our online magazine is released monthly with articles on inspiring Personalities, Career advice, Health, Beauty, Entertainment and Recipes. Where we feature beauty products that are also available for sale online, we will highlight these products for you to conveniently shop "from the pages of the magazine".
